Misys General Insurance achieved a record operating profit of £14m, up from £13m in 2003. In its statement, Misys said: "General insurance business has delivered another good performance with increased levels of order intake and a record level of operating profit. The business also saw record levels of electronic data interchange transactions and successfully launched a number of products including Premium Finance, Financial Services Authority Regulation and OASys Commercial software modules."
