Businesses must realise that climate change is certain and prepare for effective risk management of it, according to the chief executive of the Institute of Risk Management.
Speaking after an impromptu forum vote at the IRM's Annual Risk Forum in September, Steve Fowler revealed that 68% of the respondents said climate change was still not being discussed at boardroom level, with 72% adding that it was not even on their risk registers.
