Wholesaling broker Dickson Manchester has set up an underwritingagency.
The agency can write up to £25m in premium, provided by Dickson
Manchester's new owner, US-based Houston Casualty Company. HCC has made it
clear more capacity is available if needed however, according to Andrew
MacPherson, associate director at Dickson Manchester.
Mr MacPherson said: "We want to write more business and have no target
figures. We will double our capacity if we can and more capacity is
available."
