From the beginning of this month, Bishopsgate will trade under thename of Fortis Insurance, bringing it in line with its Dutch-Belgium
parent.
The name change follows the Gloucester-based insurer's take-over of
Northern Star at the end of last year, and a capital injection of £15m
from its parent.
The newly-named company has begun a marketing campaign to promote
awareness of the change and of its integrated product range. Fortis
Insurance has unveiled three new household products: two sum-insured
