Lloyd's group Kiln is merging part of its back office facilities with
Berkshire Hathaway International Insurance. The move will see BHIL move
its book of business to the Maidstone office of Kiln-owned Link
Insurance.

As a result of this, BHIL-owned motor syndicate Holdsure will now work
alongside Link, sharing facilities and processing. Kiln chairman, David
Gilchrist, said: "Significant savings will be achieved by combining the
administration of the two accounts."
