A survey by Eagle Star has revealed that use of its Internet motor
insurance site peaks between 10am and 3pm. During this period the company
handles nearly 40% of its daily sales. Eagle Star found Monday to be the
most popular day to buy insurance on-line, possibly because people are
buying insurance when they return to work after the weekend. The firm
plans to launch a home insurance product over the Internet soon.
