The travel industry has seen significant changes over the past coupleof years. Following the events of 11 September, the industry saw a decline
in the number of leisure and business visits to the US and, although the
long-term impact of the recent bombing in Bali has yet to be seen, it is
likely the threat of terrorism could fuel consumers' reluctance to take
long-haul trips abroad.
