Amicus has criticised Norwich Union for failing to consult with it before announcing that 345 roles would be lost in the closure of RAC's Morecambe and Darlington call centres. The cuts are part of NU's plan to axe 1700 jobs - 800 of which will be offshored - as part of its takeover of the motoring giant for £1.1bn.
