As part of its continued global integration process, Marsh & McLennan
Companies has formed a new holding company for its risk and insurance
services business. The new company, which will be called Marsh Inc,
represents the unification of Marsh & McLennan, Johnson & Higgins and
Sedgwick into one global firm. It is expected that the names of the
operating companies will also be changed to Marsh Inc.


John T Sinnott has been appointed as chairman and chief executive officer
of the integrated businesses
