The Budget Group of Companies has acquired nearly 9000 policies from
Devitts - part of the Churchill Group.


Budget's largest branch, at Ipswich, took on most of the new policies,
with the remainder going to Colchester.


Budget recently closed its Redditch call centre operation, transferring
its existing 11,000 policies to 16 branches around the country.


Budget's retail network recently acquired its 85th branch when it took
over Scunthorpe-based J&M Insurance, after acquiring Dial Direct in
October
