Neil McKenzie, formerly managing director of Country Mutual Insurance Brokers, has been given a new role at insurer NFU Mutual.

From 1 June, McKenzie has become general manager, business risk, with a remit over internal audits, compliance issues and corporate governance.

Following Towergate's acquisition of CMIB, 14 staff from CMIB's head office in Stratford will remain with NFU Mutual, including former operations director Andrew Spriggs. CMIB controls gross written premium of over £130m and 80%
