Duncan Pocock is a company with many strings to its bow but Nigel Palmer tells Diane Smyth it is focusing on cutting down its operations.

Nine of the big insurers say they prefer Duncan Pocock - the
south-east England broker has elite or club status with NIG, St Paul,
Groupama, Axa, Zurich, Independent, Norwich Union, Chubb and Ace. As Nigel
Palmer, chief operations officer, drily remarks, the broker has not had
any problems with losing agencies.
