Norwich Union has begun legal action against a member of staff inconnection with a fraud that has cost the company £1.5m. The fraud is
believed to have come from one of the company's claims departments and
involved the siphoning of money over a number of years. NU has instituted
a review of its procedures as a result of the case, but claims no policy
holders have suffered.
