A new company is aiming to create an insurance broking group worth
£10m in gross written premium within the next two years.


Chartside Ventures has been set up by Robin Mellish, previously agency
manager at Link, and Nigel Dyer, former marketing manager at ITT London &
Edinburgh. The two are looking to to build the group by buying existing
businesses and by "cold starts" and are planning to have eight firms on
board within the next two years.
