With both general insurance brokers and independent financialadvisers soon to be regulated by the Financial Services Authority, some
pundits argue the industry could see a return to composite broking.
The suggestion is that national and provincial brokers could form closer
links with IFAs to provide a full range of investment and insurance
products.
Merging with IFAs, bringing in financial investment expertise or forming
closer links with IFA divisions could help achieve this.
