Total Broker Solutions has moved to distance itself from its initial network offering and has shifted its strategy to offer what it calls bespoke deals for larger brokers.

Mike Williams, chief executive of TBS, who now describes the venture as a provider of support services to brokers, claims it is currently providing such services to more than 30 brokers with a premium income of between £5m and £20m.

TBS has also abandoned its flat rate of a 2.5% premium income charge to brokers for its services
