Polaris has begun work to integrate imarket with its panel of insurers and four software houses.
It has agreed terms with CDL, InsurE-com, Misys and Software Solutions Partners and, it is hoped, ongoing negotiations with Acturis, Sectornet and Sirius will see them follow suit.
Software-house integration will connect broker and insurer systems, removing the need to access imarket through a web browser and reducing the duplication of data entry.
Polaris will initially focus on quote and new business
