Brokers must embrace e-commerce and use it to radically rethink theircore strategies, according to Grahame Chilton, chief executive of
reinsurance broker the Benfield Group.
Speaking at the Wildnet Market Forum, Mr Chilton said that brokers who
supported e-commerce should not be seen as turkeys voting for
Christmas.
"The predicted armageddon hasn't happened," he said. "E-commerce can do
much to streamline the processes but it is a means to an end."
He continued: "We must ask ourselves what core
