A frame of mind.

Photography is a complex area to insure, involving more than simply covering equipment, but it is a profitable one for brokers willing to take on a mediating and tailoring role, says Diane Smyth.

Rowat can answer that question, having seen his house and studio go up in
flames five years ago. "I had five minutes to get stuff out and thought of
the cameras," he says. "I just wanted to get the things that would help me
earn a living. I grabbed cameras and things I could use to rebuild my
career as soon as possible, and the top two drawers of the most recent
jobs from my filing cabinet."
