The judging panel for the British Insurance Awards certainly had itswork cut out this year.
A record number of entries - with some categories doubling their number of
submissions - meant that the burden falling on the judges was greater than
ever. Despite this, they gathered on the top floor of the London
Underwriting Centre last month full of enthusiasm for the task of
deliberating over the shortlists for the 17 award categories.
The judges had the chance to read the 1000 entry statements in
