I am writing to say what an enjoyable evening I had at this year's
British Insurance Awards. However, there was one matter which marred the
evening and which you may wish to consider for future events.


The reaction of some of the attendees to a woman receiving an award (PHH's
Lorraine Wright, who was wearing a low-cut evening dress and was greeted
with wolf whistles and cheers) was an embarrassing and shameful
spectacle.


This was nothing to do with the organisation or delivery of the event -
