Sara Murray, managing director of new internet venture, Inspop, tells Tim Collison, about setting up the business and of the problems of getting insurers online.
There are several clear similarities between Sara Murray and MarthaLane Fox. Both are Oxford educated, both have been management/strategy
consultants, and both have set up their own internet companies before the
age of 35. However, that is where the similarities end. Lastminute.com is
arguably the best known internet business in the UK, whereas Inspop.com is
just weeks old and, while its potential is enormous, its launch has been
hampered by technical problems.
