Premium finance company Prompt has acquired Tifco for £2.4m. The deal
gives Prompt an extra £1m in net assets and brings its total number of
brokers to around 3500. The merged company will trade under the name
Prompt.

Bob Golden, chief executive officer of Prompt, will remain CEO of the
merged company. He stated the directors of the new company will be the
existing Prompt management structure. "The directors of Tifco will be
leaving. The duplication of roles meant their positions are
redundant."
