Last year was yet another year of great change for nearly all concerned in the insurance industry. Tim Collison takes a look back at some of the major events of the last 12 months.

Many brokers will have given a sigh of relief last month, as the
Christmas festivities marked the end of yet another frenetic year in the
UK insurance market. Mergers, acquisitions, soft markets, and the
regulators all conspired to try the patience of brokers.

Analysis: Is the era of offshore capacity over, or is it poised for a comeback?
