Having converted our small marine insurance brokerage from apartnership to limited liability last year, we were interested to read
Michael Lopian's comment in PB (August, p11).
We were pleased with our Limited Liability Partnership as our personal
exposure became limited. New applications and new fees were required
however, for our Consumer Credit Licence and Data Protection.
The last paragraph of Mr Lopian's article refers to limited liability
companies switching to LLPs. In view of the fact that
