Ecclesiastical has launched a major expansion of its brokerpartnership scheme.
Launched 3 November the scheme gives commercial brokers access to branch
underwriters, who have been given delegated authority. The scheme
currently involves 50 brokers but Ecclesiastical hopes to attract 150-200
more.
The insurer will underwrite industrial risks through the partnerships,
predominantly aiming at premiums of £500-£50,000 in factories, warehouses,
distribution and manufacturing.
