InsurE-com has won exclusive distribution, support and developmentrights to the TAM system in the UK.
The system was developed in the US by Applied Systems and is aimed at
commercial lines intermediaries. Applied Systems has terminated its former
partnership with UK software house CSC.
The TAM system allows brokers to obtain comparative quotations in real
time and will be linked to InsurE-com's existing industry portal.
InsurE-com hopes Quotel users will migrate to TAM as their system is
withdrawn
