Allianz Cornhill's Underwriting Academy is the first in-house insurer training programme to be awarded the Chartered Insurance Institute's Prior Learning Accreditation at the advanced diploma level.
The accreditation means that staff passing specific commercial motor and property and casualty academy modules can earn up to 60 credits within the CII qualification structure.
The modules involve a similar amount of work at an equivalent standard and level of assessment to the CII exams.
