Bermudian insurance group, Ace is looking to increase the number of
brokers it deals with in the UK, following the completion of its
acquisition of Cigna International's UK and international property and
casualty business.


Steve Schleisman, chairman and chief executive officer of Ace Europe,
confirmed the group's commitment to trading with all sizes of broker and
intermediary.


The Cigna business has now been rebranded as Ace, and the group is looking
to expand its D&O, trade credit, alternative risk

Lords Committee ‘unconvinced’ on FCA name and shame proposal

The House of Lords Financial Services Regulation Committee is unconvinced on the FCA’s name and shame plans as it branded the consultation an “abject failure” and urged if concerns have not been addressed in the regulator’s second consultation the proposals should not go ahead.
