Brokers believe technical training is the most important requirement following the impact of statutory regulation, new research from the British Insurance Brokers' Association shows. One-third of brokers quizzed for the BIBA Broker Training Survey identified technical training as the biggest talent shortage in the industry ahead of personal skills, IT and management skills. Forty per cent of brokers do not have a training plan in place and onethird of brokers do not arrange any, says a survey
