Some in the uninsured loss recovery market believe that the days of the smaller provider are numbered. David Fanning looks at what is in store for this tough market.

The writing is on the wall for many of the smaller uninsured loss
recovery providers, particularly if major players like DAS Legal Expenses
Insurance and Lawclub Legal Protection - and the Motoring Uninsured Loss
Recovery Association (MULRA) - get their way.


DAS wants the Lord Chancellor's Department to enquire into the ULR
providers, some of whom it describes as "financially unstable", and points
to last year's collapse of Legal Recovery Group (LRG) as a timely warning
to motorists and, perhaps
