CGU has favoured former General Accident products in its
best-of-breed review in order to avoid unnecessary IT re-engineering
costs.


The single product range, launched last month, includes 29 GA policies and
17 Commercial Union ones.


There are also a total of 26 CU policies which will be withdrawn from
general new business use, but may still be available for schemes.
