Overheard was pleased to see Reg Brown, past president of the
Chartered Insurance Institute, sporting a tip-top tie at the recent
Society of Financial Advisors liability and money-laundering seminar.
Overheard could understand the relevance of the piles of money depicted on
the tie but took a bit longer to twig the chairs. Obviously a cunning
reference to SOFA itself.


Overheard also discovered that Dennis Mahoney, chairman and chief
executive at Aon, has risen to the top from humble beginnings
