A new qualification for life and disability claims specialists will
be launched by the Chartered Insurance Institute this year. It is aimed at
claims specialists working at companies providing life and disability
protection. The diploma in life and disability claims exam will be sat for
the first time in April 2002 and will be part of the CII's Associateship
scheme.
