The Prince's Trust Insurance Leadership Group has set itself a target of raising £2m by the end of the year, after raising its first £1m less than a year after it started.
Steven Verrall, chief executive of software house Sirius and chairman of the ILG, told guests at a launch dinner on 31 January that £1m would allow the trust to help 800 young people by setting up 240 new businesses, 40 team programmes helping 600 people, or 200 clubs helping 2000 people in school.
