Zurich's commercial business unit has launched an all-risks policy for hair and beauty salon owners.
The policy covers business interruption up to £400 000, accidental loss or damage to all glass and fixed sanitary-ware, and loss of metered water up to £2500. Salon owners can also insure themselves and named employees against bodily injuries that leave them unable to work, employer's liability up to £10m and products liability up to £2m. Premiums can be paid on a monthly basis and 24hour

FSCS gives first insight on increasing levy to £394m

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme has indicated its levy for 2025/26 will rise to £394m from £265m this financial year as it cited having lower surpluses to carry forward and offset bills – a factor that has benefited brokers for two years in a row.
