Lewes-based underwriting agency Berkeley Alexander is actively seeking business from brokers and independent financial advisers which have had their agencies cancelled in anticipation of General Insurance Standards Council regulation.
Following Axa's decision to cancel the agencies of smaller firms which are unlikely to comply with GISC rules or where insurance is not core-business, Berkeley Alexander is offering to "park and ride" books of personal lines business for brokers and IFAs falling
