The insurance sector is actively recruiting staff, but its growth isstill below the UK average, according to Manpower's quarterly survey of
employment prospects. The survey, released on 12 July, indicated that 32%
of insurers plan to increase employment levels, while 13% predict a
reduction, giving an overall anticipated increase of 19%. The UK average
overall increase was 20%, putting insurers at ninth place in the survey of
19 sectors.
