Zurich Commercial has unveiled a new flood-handling process whichfocuses predominantly on pre-emptive measures rather than post-event
damage limitation. This follows the publication of a report by the
Association of British Insurers which criticised insurers for their lack
of proactivity, speed of settlement and failure to explain their
complaints procedure.
The new plan, which is being supported by business continuity company, Ark
& General, covers pre-incident mitigation measures such as sand
