The demand for premium finance is set to rise in the next few years, presenting brokers with the perfect opportunity to expand into this area further, says David Fanning.
Premium financing has had a somewhat frenetic time in recent months,with various takeovers and management changes. Not only that, but
established finance companies, insurers, and brokers are all fine-tuning
their premium instalment operations.
Following Aegon's acquisition of its parent group, there is speculation
that Transamerica Insurance Finance Corporation (TIFCO) may be sold off,
along with Transamerica's leasing interests. TIFCO (Europe) is one of the
principal players in the UK premium
