Lloyd's broker, Burke Ford Insurance Group has acquired the SwireRenshaw Group and financial services company Pentech from Swire Blanch
Holdings.
Swire Renshaw is based in Huddersfield, has 100 staff and commands a
brokerage of £3.8m. The deal will see the number of staff in the Burke
Ford Insurance Group increase to 300 and its brokerage swell to about
£15m. No redundancies are anticipated as part of the takeover.
Swire Renshaw will now be brought under the Burke Ford corporate umbrella,
