Insurance Age

Through the same Channel.

The rapidly changing face of insurers has met with many concerns from brokers and intermediaries, and it seems that things are much the same for company agents on the other side of the Channel.

For many of us, I suppose the popular image of French commerce is of
port workers, farmers or matelots preventing us Brits from reaching, or
returning from our continental holiday destinations.

But if you have ever driven through France, as I have done on numerous
occasions, it will not have escaped your notice that every town, however
small, appears to have a presence of insurers we have grown to know and
love here, such as AXA, Groupama, MMA, AGF (now part of Allianz), and the
like.
