Building trust through a tripartite relationship involving brokers, insurers and customers is key to getting the industry back to profitability.

As A businessperson making the case for profit, I feel a bit like a baker arguing the case for bread. But the insurance industry seems to have lost sight of this most basic of economic principles.

The industry has only itself to blame for its consistent lack of profitability.

We have allowed the situation to develop to a point where we can no longer say the losses of the few are paid for by the many. In fact, it seems the losses of the many are now paid for by the few.
