Halifax General Insurance is to roll-out the use of voice risk analysis software on home insurance claims following its successful pilot last year. It claims the VRA system takes less than half the time of traditional screening methods and allows genuine claims to be paid without the need to visit properties. The system will be used along with other tools in cases involving claims such as theft, accidental damage and accidental loss. Customers can opt out of the technology and will be advised
