Workplace accidents and ill health cost Britain between £14.5 and £18.1bn between 1995-1996, according to a new report published by the Health and Safety Executive. Employers' costs also are largely attributable to injury and non-injury accidents, totalling £2.3 - £5.3bn.In conjunction with the publication of the report, the HSE has launched National Health and Safety Week and a health campaign called 'Good health is Good Business'. The campaign is being coordinated by Lord Whitty
