Since he first joined Kallender Jeffries, managing director Derek Martindale has seen the company undergo many changes, keeping the business moving and growing, he tells Angela Faherty.

Derek Martindale was working as an insurance inspector with Eagle
Star when he decided to join a small local brokerage called Kallender
Ashford in 1972. Some 31 years later Mr Martindale is managing director of
the company, which has gone through many changes since it was first
established in 1971 by Brian Kallender.
