According to a survey sponsored by the General Insurance Research
Association, 90% of people who claim on their motor insurance are happy
with their insurer's advice, while 84% said they were likely to stay with
their existing insurer. The likelihood of staying was higher the more
customers' expectations had been met or exceeded. The companies involved
in the survey, conducted by Business and Market Research, were Avon, AXA,
Commercial Union, Eagle Star, London & Edinburgh, NFU Mutual, Norwich
