Marsh is claiming to be the first company in the UK to offerprofessional indemnity cover to solicitors online.
The broker has set up the facility to enable firms to buy cover on the
open market. The Solicitors Indemnity Fund was formally dissolved this
month.
Solicitors can buy cover via a transactional website which has a built-in
comparative rating engine. Trademarked eFin-pro, it has been produced by
Policy Master and includes the front-end Gemininet rating engine and the
Sirius back-office
