Direct Line's jamjar site went live on 12 July, accompanied by a TVadvertising campaign. The site has a £15m marketing and advertising budget
for its first year. £1m-worth of part-exchange cars were sold through
jamjar in the first week, and the first car was recently delivered, seven
days after being ordered through the site.
