There are many sources of software available on the internet as a free download, ranging from tried-and-trusted internet browsers such as Firefox to insurance-industry specific programs such as Kube Partner's web-rating do-it-yourself kit, Insurance In A Box. Relatively few brokers are making substantial use of these options but, as businesses look to make cost savings in this oppresive economic climate, some of these free software downloads could represent viable alternatives.
